Aisling hairband

The Aisling hairband is a beginner friendly crochet pattern. These hairbands work up quickly and are fun to make. Each hair band will take less than an hour to create and they are a brilliant stash buster. You can use small leftover scraps for each circle, with as many colours as you like. Make one to coordinate with a favourite outfit, make a little pile as party favours, or for market stall sales. The pattern is available free on my web site. The PDF comes in both UK and US crochet terms options, and in standard and large print options (see details below) Sizes Sizes to fit approximately: child (adult, large adult, extra-large adult) To fit head circumference 51 (56, 61, 66) cm / 20, (22, 24, 26) inches Tension/Gauge Each circle measures 5 cm /2 inch in diameter across. Each circle adds 2.5 cm / 1 inch to the diameter of the hairband due to its overlapping pattern Skill level This is a beginner friendly pattern. It is a quick 1 hour make for an experienced crocheter. Crochet language This pattern is written in English, with both U.K. and US versions available. Accessibility This pattern is available free on The Fairythorn blog, and can be purchased for convenience as a PDF download. This pattern is written out in full words, with no abbreviations. The PDF comes in 2 formats, choose between ‘standard’, ‘large print’. All versions of this pattern are in black text, using Verdana - a clear, sans serif font. They use an easy to read layout which includes bold for all emphasis, and avoid italics or block capitals. Text is left justified throughout, and no columns are used. All instructions are fully written out. Some illustrative pictures are included, but all required information is in the text. The standard version of this pattern is presented in 15 point font.
