Moon Column Shirt

Moon Column Shirt is slightly cropped summer design that features scoop neck in the front and classic 2x2 rib around the neck, arm openings and waist. Another staple design from Caidree classic collection that every wardrobe needs in at least three colors. Moon Column Shirt is created from the top down and it is worked in stockinette stitch all the way through. Shoulders are shaped using a few German short rows. Approximately 5 cm / 2” of positive ease is built in to the pattern, chose your size based on how much ease you prefer. Sizes 1, (2), 3, (4), 5 , (6), 7, (8), 9, (10). Bust circumference of the finished shirt 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 118, 126, 135 cm / 29½”, 31½“, 33½”, 35½”, 37½”, 39½”, 43¼”, 46½“, 49½”, 53¼”. Featured in size 5 on a 93 cm / 36½” bust. Gauge 21 stitches by 32 rows =10 x 10 cm / 4” x 4” using size US 7 / 4.50 mm needles in stockinette stitch after washing and blocking. Yarn Moon Column Shirt is worked using fingering weight yarn held double, this means you will work with two strands of yarn held together throughout the pattern (equivalent to 10 ply or worsted weight thickness). You will need total of approximately 200, (200), 225, (225), 250, (275), 300, (350), 375, (400) grams of Peacock Yarn - Bamboo, 100 grams = 400 meters / 437 yards. Featured in color “After Midnight”. That is approximately 800, (800), 900, (900), 1000 , (1100), 1200, (1400), 1500, (1600) meters. Note: bamboo yarn will grow a bit, It is a good idea to note the gauge before and after washing and blocking. Suggested needles US 7 / 4.50 mm 80 cm / 32” circular knitting needles or needles to obtain gauge for the main body. US 4 / 3.50 mm 40 to 80 cm / 16” to 32” for the waist edging.
