These mug rugs take less than an hour to make. Finished size is 4.25" inner coaster size, 6" with the fringe. 100% cotton category 4 worsted weight with a 3.75 mm hook is used. LEVEL: This is an advanced beginner level crochet pattern. Maker must be familiar with crochet terminology and basic stitches. The pdf pattern is in US Terminology and written in English. A little about the yarn: LionBrand 24/7 cotton is used in this original pattern. It is a medium density strand with a smooth texture and very little fiber separation. Two strands are used to stiffen the finished make and help with absorbency. If using a thicker, coarser cotton yarn, please be aware that the final finish will be slightly larger.
