True Knot Scarf

The True Knot Scarf is a simple and wearable piece knitted from end to end. The 1x1 overall rib pattern is broken off by garter stitch stripes in a contrasting colour. The first half of the scarf is shaped with increases, and the second half with decreases. The edges are raw and the knots at each tail makes this quick knit pop. Sizes Onesize Finished measurements Length, without knots: 145 cm / 57” Width at apex: 38 cm / 15” Note: The scarf will stretch lengthwise with wear. Yarn Retrosaria Mondim (100% Portuguese wool, 385 m / 421 yds on 100 g). OR Snowdonia by Garthenor Organic (50% Organic Romney wool, 50% Organic Hebridean Wool, 200 m / 219 yds on 50 g). Sample 1 (grey/green) is knitted in Mondim, using the colourways 400 as MC and C579 as CC. Sample 2 (light grey/white/dark blue) is knitted in Snowdonia, using colourways Harlech as MC1, Moel Hebog as MC2 and Mumbles as CC. Yardage 1 ball of Retrosaria Mondim in MC and 1 ball of Retrosaria Mondim in CC OR 2 skeins of Snowdonia in MC1 and 1 skein of Snowdonia in MC2 and 1 skein of Snowdonia in CC or approximately 360 m / 393 yds of MC and 110 m / 120 yds of CC for a two-coloured scarf, and 270 m ( 205 yds of MC1, 90 m / 98 yds of MC2 and 110 m /120 yds of CC for a three-coloured scarf.
