Silver's Star

Silver’s Star was born from an idea about our daughter Samantha. At some stage of her teenage years, she was given the nickname of Silver as everyone thought that suited her personality better than Sam. Only we as her family still call her by her birth name. I wanted to make a blanket pattern that suited her, however as a young adult who is trying to find her identity in the world something that was florally or a granny square would not be suitable. She is someone that has a twinkle about her. She shines bright in a crowded room, and I do not doubt that she will light the way for many people to follow once she finds her place in this world. Samantha will always be a star in our eyes She always has been our most remarkable achievement in life and forever will be. Silver – this one is for you. Know that you are forever loved XX
