NOTES This vest is constructed using two shoulder straps, each made up of granny squares that extend from the bottom-front of the garment, over the shoulder and down to the bottom-back. Once the straps are completed, the centre front, centre back and two side-body panels are built along each strap and worked sideways, forming four sections per strap. After completing these sections, the two pieces are seamed together along the centre back to form the vest. Finally, the garment is finished with single crochet edgings around the neckline and armholes, giving it a clean and polished look.
