Stargazey Cowl

The Stargazey Cowl is worked in Tunisian crochet in the round, using a herringbone stitch which creates an open, mesh-like fabric perfect for those changeable spring weather days. This design is written to use two colours; using a contrast colour for the return pass helps the main stitch motif to stand out and the ribbing also alternates colours. However, you could equally work the whole cowl in one colour if you prefer. This cowl is worked in Tunisian crochet in the round; you will need one interchangeable hook with approx. 40cm cable and a stopper on the other end of the cable to prevent your stitches sliding off. The rib is worked at the end of the project with half treble crochet and slip stitches, and can be worked with a regular crochet hook.
