This pattern is worked using two strands of light weight (DK/#3) yarn held together, creating a thicker fabric with great texture and structure. You may also use a single strand of worsted weight yarn as a substitute. The design uses two different colors for a bold, contrasting look. It’s made for an adult size with head circumference of 20 to 23 inches. GUAGE 15sts by 9rows on a 4×4(10×10cm) swatch Materials needed: • 50g Light weight (DK/#3) yarn — used held double throughout. alternatively, you can substitute with a single strand of Worsted/Aran weight (#4) yarn.
