It is a beautiful place in winter where I spent time snowboarding as a youngster. It is also a beautiful place in summer, but the winter there is the inspiration for this half-mitt. These half-mittens are knitted to be the same, meaning, you can choose to wear the inside out or the outside out, since the thumbs gusset is placed in the side. The colors switch places for the inside and outside, giving you a half-mitt you can combine side to your preference of the day. The half-mitten has a Latvian braid both at the bottom and the top, a two colored striped thumbs gusset, and a traditional stars pattern on both inside and outside of the mitten.
