This pattern is made-to-measure so it can suit any body shape and sizes. You can choose to make this in any length e.g. cropped or normal top length or even a tunic, and with or without sleeves. You can also make it fitted, loose fit or flared, it's your top, your choice. Last but not least, use any yarn you like and you don't have to meet my gauge. Stitches used are a combination of the below and they come with stitch charts, photo and video tutorials too: - single crochet - double crochet - front post treble crochet - surface slip stitches - a combo of the above and a 'special' stitch Since this is made-to-measure, there are some body measurements to be taken to make this top to your liking. You can either use these measurements and the auto-calculation table linked in the spreadsheet to guide your stitches or eyeball as you make. I used 5mm hook for both tops and the yarns usage are as follows: Black top (With sleeves) - Main Colour ("MC") Crocheted By Carisse 12-ply fine "Black Beauty” cotton yarn in sport weight. I used about 237g, 752m - Contrast Colour ("CC") Amy Atorie white cotton yarn in light dk, I used about 30g, 120m. Yellow top (Sleeveless) - MC generic yellow cotton yarn of lace weight, I used about 113g, 512m - CC generic blue cotton yarn of lace weight, I used about 7g, 32m. If you are an advanced beginner who can read charts and would like a challenge, this pattern is for you. Otherwise, intermediate level would be it.
