*This beginner friendly hat is filled with textured knit purl stitches. Choose one color of a chunky weight yarn like West Wool Cargo and begin the brim with 2x2 ribbing. Bands of simple garter stitch divide the diagonal rib, moss stitch, and broken ribbing stitch patterns. This hat knits up in a flash, making it the perfect quick gift knitting project to keep your family and friends warm.* **When you purchase this pattern, you will also receive the classic [Dustland Hat][1] pattern!** **Sizes** 1 (2, 3) **Finished Measurements** 19 (21, 24)″ / 48 (53, 61)cm head circumference. 8″ / 20cm tall from brim to top of hat (measured with the brim folded). Measurements taken after blocking. I recommend selecting a size that is 1 – 2″ / 2.5 – 5cm smaller than your actual head circumference for a fit with negative ease.
