Molly the Molotov Cocktail

Let’s just say I made this little Molotov Cocktail amigurumi as a way to channel my feelings about the current US political climate. Better than throwing the real thing around (maybe?). Molly is a fast and easy project that can be made with any size yarn you like. A chart is included to help you choose the right hook and yarn weight to achieve the desired size for your Molotov. It’s a great stash buster for your leftover yarn scraps! **Materials Needed:** - Crochet hook - Yarn in any weight or fiber type you choose - Bottle: 20-60 yards (depending on yarn weight) - Cloth: 1 yard in white - Flame: a few inches of scrap in red & yellow (or any fiery color you have) - Yarn needle - Piece of flat scrap plastic, such as a yogurt lid - Pen and scissors for cutting the scrap plastic - Fiber fill and/or scrap yarn for stuffing **Difficulty:** This is an easy pattern recommended for a beginner or above. **Instruction Style:** Includes written instructions with helpful photos.
