Little Knots Beanie

I am constantly looking for dense, tight stitches to make winter accessories with and have come up with one of my own. - The Knot stitch is simply a single crochet worked a particular way, in front loops of 2 stitches. - Both sides of the stitch form a unique texture making it reversible. - Knot stitch is a wonderfully dense stitch, offering great insulation, without being too thick. - Once you learn the basic stitch, you can experiment with it, in a lot of different ways. - The pattern can be easily adapted to make a slouchy or messy bun hat. - It works up a little slower than usual but makes for a perfect beanie to keep cold at bay. - It would make for a thoughtful gift for any loved one.
