Salt Winds is a modern take on a traditional fisherman's cable hat, made with an allover fine cable pattern and bobbles. This cozy toque is designed to be warm and beautiful, and is inspired by cold and stormy ocean winds. The hat is knit with less than one skein of fingering-weight yarn, making for a relatively quick knit. The pattern includes five sizes that span from baby to adult large. **Yarn Used:** The Fibre Co. Amble (32st) 70% merino wool, 20% suri alpaca, 10% recycled nylon, 355 yards (325 m) per 100g skein Colour: Eden Valley **Gauge:** 36 sts and 32 rounds to a 4 inch / 10 cm square of cable-knit pattern, in the round, blocked. Cable knitting needle size suggestion is US 6 (4 mm). A heavier (as opposed to thinner) fingering weight yarn is recommended to achieve gauge. **Sizing: ** The Salt Winds Toque comes in 5 sizes.
