Perfect Peony Socks

Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking. I look forward every year for the return of spring through my neighborhood, where each type of flower starts blooming on a different week until the whole city is full of color (and allergies). This floral pattern celebrates peonies – the large pink flowers I bring home to create some life and joy on my coffee table. These flowers can be any color to reflect your favorite of the season, or a field of different colors! TECHNIQUES These socks are knit cuff down with one colorwork chart and a wrap and turn heel. Instructions for an afterthought heel are also provided. MATERIALS Yarn: 3 colors of fingering weight (4 ply) yarn, 50g per skein. Exact yarn usage will depend on size, height of leg, and length of foot. Needles: Size 1 needles for cuff, heel, and toe. Size 1.5 needles for colorwork.
