The “Petals” hat is a floral textured beanie-style hat knitted from the top down in the round. The knitting process starts in the center of the flower and stitches are increased as part of the Petals textured lace motif. **Sizes:** one size -> Depending on how much you block your finished hat after washing, you can greatly influence the final hat circumference. This results in a possible size range of probably 50 to 57.5 cm / 20 to 23 inches. **Finished hat circumference:** 53.5 cm / 21.5 inches ->The pattern is designed to be worn with slightly negative ease or no ease. **Yarn: Sample 1 (blue-grey):** Honer och Eir Nutiden held double: 50 g **Sample 2 (yellow):** Finkhof dünn (300m/100g): 45 g Knitting for Olive Soft Silk-Mohair (225m/25g): 20 g --> 1 strand of each held together --> The recommended amounts include a buffer and yarn for swatching. **Gauge:** blocked & dried: 15 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in textured lace pattern & ribbing **Needles:** 4.5 mm / US7 needles Use DPNs or a circular needle based on your personal preference. **Notions:** tapestry needle, 1 stitch marker optional: 4 additional stitch markers for pattern repeats, crochet hook for picking up sts
