Rewrite the Stars Dishcloth

This is the February 2025 design for the Year of Dishcloths Pattern Club! The inspiration for this month’s design, Rewrite the Stars Dishcloth, is one of my favourite songs from the soundtrack of The Greatest Showman. I’ve watched the movie many times and really enjoy singing along to all the tunes (A Million Dreams and This is Me are two other faves!) I chose some beautiful red cotton yarn (Estelle Sudz), inspired by P.T. Barnum’s jacket on the album cover, and of course for the month of February! The pattern is a simple lace design that reminds me of the big top circus tents - and it is both fun and simple to knit! I wet blocked my cloth to really allow the lace to pop.
