Twisted Tales follows a cable travelling on its own path. Sign up for our [Newsletter][1]. ** Twisted Tales is knit from the top down and mostly in the round. The pullover is started by working the collar in the round. The shoulder saddles are worked flat from the neckline out to the edge of the shoulder while the rest of the neckline is on hold. Stitches are picked up from the edges of the shoulder saddle and worked across the live stitches at the neck and the end of the shoulder saddles to join the work in the round again. Short rows are used to shape the neckline and to create the shoulder slope. The cable stitch pattern is started at the centre front and back after the shoulder shaping is complete. The sleeves and yoke progress in the round from the shoulder to the underarm, at which point the sleeves are put on hold while the body is worked down to the hem.
