You could easily knit the whole sock without changing directions of the lace by simply working the whole leg and the whole foot all from Chart A, and maybe work the second sock from Chart B. Equally, you could change directions a lot more often, simply alternate Chart A and Chart B throughout the whole sock. For a more advanced look, try running the lace pattern all the way into the toe. To achieve this, simply continue working the lace between the markers on the top of the foot. Work the last two rows as plain knit to avoid having to graft into a yarnover.
