Work Hat

The very first pattern I made up on my own was this one. When I first learned to knit, my uncle and husband needed a hearty hat for winter chores. I promptly made myself one, too. To date, it is my most worn hat. I reach for this hat when I am shoveling snow, getting firewood, or headed out to star gaze in winter. This is an easy pattern, and great for beginners! This hat can be knit with any Super Bulky yarn. Shown in Malabrigo Rasta, Baah Mammoth, and Dream in Color Savvy. The pattern comes in 4 sizes; child, teen/adult s, adult m/l, adult xl/xxl.
