Cold Metal Mitts

Inspired by metal's property as a powerful heat conductor, the Cold Metal Mitts are worked from the bottom up beginning with a garter stitch cuff. The body of the mitts is worked in two-color brioche. The thumb gusset is created with basic brioche increases and the live thumb stitches put on hold to be worked when the body is finished.
