**Light Waves** *Float away with this fun, multi-directional knit* **Yarn** Kate Davies Designs Ooskit (100% British Wool; 220m / 240yds per 100g skein) A Riach: 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) x 100g skeins B Choffer: 4 (4, 5, 5, 5) x 100g skeins **Needles and Notions** Gauge-size and below gauge-size circular needles (of your preferred length and type) for knitting back, shoulders, scyes and fronts Gauge-size and below gauge-size needles of your preferred type for knitting small circumferences Tapestry needle Stitch markers (2 types, x and y) Spare needle cords or waste yarn for holding stitches **Gauge** 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm / 4in, over stockinette, worked back and forth, on gauge-size needle(s) Use 4mm needle as a starting point for swatching. **Sizes** Total garment circumference: 105 (113, 129, 137, 153.5) cm / 41 ¼ (44½, 51, 54, 60½) in Select a size above your actual body measurements with the amount of ease preferred (at least 10cm / 4in of ease is recommended). Shown on Kate C in the first size. **Pattern Notes** This cardigan begins with a garter tab cast on. The garment back is worked from a two-colour lace chart, shaped with paired yarnover increases around a central spine. When the back is complete, the right shoulder, scye, and front are shaped and the shoulder joined with a three needle bind off. After the left shoulder, scye and front are worked to match the right, a garter stitch and i-cord edging is picked up all around the neck and front opening. The sleeves are worked top down, and finished with a garter stitch and i-cord cuff.
