Eat the Rich

The pattern calls for fingering weight in the following quantities: Main Colour (natural) 85m/93 yards Contrast Colour (red) 85m/93 yards The pompom used an additional 42m/46 yards of the contrast colour. Some knitters have reported that this pattern runs small when worked with fingering weight yarn. If you experience this problem, you can try working with sport weight yarn at the same gauge. The pattern assumes that you have experience with stranded colourwork, knitting in the round, and reading charts. You can read about my design process for this hat in [this post][4].
