Nechako Beanie

The Nechako River, which flows through northern British Columbia, is the inspiration behind this asymmetrical cable. Just as the river meanders through the landscape, the cable’s twists and turns reflect that winding, adding a touch of flow and intrigue to the design. This is written for adventurous beginners. I hope you enjoy the squish in this beanie! This beanie is knit in the round from the bottom up. The pattern is written for super bulky weight, bulky weight and aran/light bulky weight yarns. Approximately 65 to 75 yards of Super Bulky weight yarn using 10 mm/ US15 needles. Yarn used: Malabrigo Rasta and Cascade Spuntaneous. Approximately 75 to 85 yards Bulky weight yarn using 6.5 mm/ US 10.5 and 8 mm/ US 11 needles. Yarn used: Malabrigo Noventa and Malabrigo Chunky. Approximately 105 to 110 yards Aran/Light Bulky weight yarn using 6 mm/ US 10 and 6.5 mm/ US 10.5 needles.
