Granny Spike Stitch

In this step-by-step crochet tutorial I show how to make the granny spike crochet stitch. This stitch is not complicated to make as it is a repeat of one row. It is reversible and looks the same on both sides. For this stitch it is a good idea to use two or more colors. You can change yarn color every two rows, like in this tutorial, or every three or four rows, whatever works best for your design. For this tutorial I use Soft FRAYA Cotton 8/4 100% Organic cotton 50g – 180 m yarn, colors: curry and eucalyptus, and a 2.0 mm hook.
