Introducing the Happier Than Ever Coaster Pattern—a simple yet elegant design that adds a touch of warmth and style to any space. Inspired by Billie Eilish’s emotional ballad, this coaster features soft puffs and delicate shell edges, creating a charming balance of texture and grace. Perfect for beginners, the pattern is easy to follow, offering just the right mix of simplicity and sophistication for anyone looking to add a personal, handmade touch to their home decor. Whether you're new to crochet or a seasoned crafter, this coaster will bring joy and coziness to your table, leaving you feeling happier than ever. This pattern is made in DK weight yarn with a 4.5mm hook. I think a synthetic or plant fiber is best for a coaster, as you will want it to be easy care. This coaster is worked in the round featuring double crochet stitch. Work increases every round encorporating a decorative puff stitch round. Ending with a dainty, scalloped edging. Gauge is not crucial in such a small piece. This pattern is written for one size which should be a perfect fit for most mugs. If you find that it is too small/too large for your mug, I encourage you to experiment with another gauge or the number of rounds. This is a beginner friendly pattern, it uses basic stitches and includes a photo tutorial at the end of the written instructions.
