Book Nook Socks

With the hustle and bustle of the holidays now over for another year.. January is the perfect time of the year to relax, enjoy the cold winter weather along with a big mug of your favorite drink and a book. My favorite past time is to cozy up in my favorite spot on the couch with some knitting of course and a great audiobook, I think most of us have a favorite spot on the couch to do this. If you have on a cozy and soft pair of socks on, even better especially when watching the snow fall out your window. The book nook socks are exactly that, cozy. I used some mcn sock yarn from my stash, which isn't the best for everyday wear but perfect for an afternoon of reading, all warm under a blanket. The pattern is simple, there are instructions for different ribbing and what makes this pattern even more interesting is the garter incorporated into the heel set up and the sole of the foot. The pattern has instructions for magic loop knitting, there are written instructions for the strong heel. Two sizes to choose from M (L) and the pattern is for cuff down socks. Enjoy!
