Mohair Yoke

Deima's MOHAIR YOKE This (almost) iconic Deima design is now finally available for those of you who want to knit it yourself. A mix of new and traditional, delicate made with light and airy mohair, and so versatile and easy to dress up or down as needed. The two-colored yoke fits perfectly over the shoulders on all body types, and as the sweater is knitted from the top and down, you can try it on in the process and adjust the length. The body is slightly oversized, with a fitted sleeve. Yarn: 3 strands of silk/mohair, Tilia from Filcolana, Angel from Permin or Kid silk from Gepard yarn. Gauge: 14 stitches x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch Recommended needles: circular needle 8 mm (80 and 40 cm), circular needle 4.5 for rib trims. Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) Yarn total: 7 (8) 8 (9) balls of silk/mohair in the base color, 3 (3) 3 (4) balls for the rib trims and the yoke pattern.
