Mila Hooded Vest

The Mila hooded vest is started from the top and knitted down to the yoke section. The left front, back, and right front are then knitted separately until reaching the underarm length, after which they are joined to knit in flat until the hem. the cast-on edge of the hood’s top is seamed together using the horizontal seam. Finally, add pockets to both sides of the garment. Gauge (With 6mm needle): 15 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking Recommended ease: 0~20 cm/0~8’’. Sizes: 1 (2, 3)(4, 5, 6) Sample shown in Size 1 with 19 cm/7.5” positive eas Finished body circumference: 102 (113, 124)(137, 148, 161)cm/40.25 (44.5, 48.75)(54, 58.25, 63.25)” Yarn: De Rerum Natura, Cyrano, 100% Wool-Merino, 100g=150m/164yds. Color way: Poivre et Sel 5 (6, 7) (8, 9, 10) skeins. Approx. 750 (900, 1050) (1200, 1350, 1500) m / 820 (984, 1148) (1312, 1476, 1640) yards. Note: You may need more yardage when extending the length of body. The black sample was knitted in Size 2 using Gepard Puno yarn, and it took 8 skeins. Needles: 6 mm (US 10), 40 ~120 cm circular needle for the hood and body 5 mm (US 8), 40 ~ 120 cm circular needle for the ribbing Other Materials: Stitch markers, stitch holder cords or waste yarn, tapestry needles, 4~5 buttons with a diameter of 25mm each.
