(This pattern is available both in French and English) **Cime** is worked from bottom-up in the round and all in 1/1 ribbing. The hat is started with a Tubular Cast On edge, which gives the hat a stretchy edge and a finished look. The top is shaped by decreasing 2 stitches together. This hat has all the makings of a favourite accessory! **Sizes**: Child (adult small/medium, adult large). Circumference (unstretched): 40 (46,5, 53) / 15 ¾ (18 1¼, 20 ¾) to fit a head with a circumference of approximately 48 (53, 56) cm / 19 (21, 22) “. *Shown in size adult S/M.* **Gauge**: 24 sts & 32 rnds in 1/1 ribbing slightly stretched. Measured over relaxed fabric without any stretching. **Yarn & notions**: This hat is knitted with one strand of fingering and one of lace weight yarn held together. If you prefer you can use one strand of a DK weight yarn. * Approximately 180 (230, 260) m /200 (250, 270) yards. Please keep in mind that yardage is an estimate. * 3.5 mm / US 4 circular needle with a cable of 40cm/16” and a cable suitable for small circumference knitting (80 cm/32”) or 3.5 mm / US 4 DPN’’s. * Stitch markers (7 sts marker and 1 different for BOR-marker), tapestry needle.
