This is a top down beanie and is easily adjustable for different size heads. I used less than 1/3 of a skein of yarn so this is also a great stash buster pattern. If desired, you can use a different color yarn for the bottom ribbing. I have used different weight yarns with this pattern, and made adjustments with the hook size and number of round repeats.
