Plaid Mesh Shirt

This crochet pattern is for a classic men's polo t-shirt, with three techniques combined to create a plaid effect. Two of these techniques are mesh so the shirt is light and cool to wear. I have included two arm hole designs, with instructions for a short sleeve or a sleeveless version. The pattern was designed using DK cotton, so the t-shirt is light and cool. The garment is made in four pieces and then sewn together. The instructions include lots of detail to ensure complex shaping is made easy. There is a photographic guide on how to add the button bands and collar. There is a lot of stretch in the finished item, so the sizing is only approximate. I have listed this pattern as "advanced" because of shaping and pattern techniques.
