[The Photographer Hat][1] was originally designed in worsted weight yarn and has been my go to slouch hat pattern for years. I wanted a lighter weight version so now it’s available in sport weight yarn too. It’s a simple hat that is great for guys, gals, and all our other pals! **SIZES** S/M 18 1/2” x 11” (46.9 x 27.9cm), L/XL 20” x 12” (50.8 x 30.4cm) This hat is very stretchy and you will want around 2-4” (5-10.1cm) negative ease. **MATERIALS** 190, 250 Yards (174, 228 meters) Sport weight yarn. (Sample knit in Spincycle Yarns - Dyed In The Wool.) US 2 16” (2.75 mm 40cm) Circular Needles. US 4 16" (3.5 mm 40cm) Circular Needles. US 4 (3.5 mm) DPNs. 1 Stitch marker. **GAUGE** 24 stitches and 36 rows = 4" (10 cm) in stockinette stitch on US 4 (3.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
