Fern Flower scarf

You require two colors of yarn. C1 (the pattern) and C2 (the background). **Size**: * Full width 58 cm wide and 234 cm long (115 rows by 467 stitches / 58 by 234 filet windows, 22¾ inches wide and 92 inches long). * Main section 54 cm wide and 210 cm long (109 rows by 421 stitches / 54 by 210 filet windows, 21¼ inches wide and 82½ inches long). **Terminology**: all crochet terms used are U.S. **Technique**: Overlay mosaic crochet (double sided or not) / Solid Interlocking filet crochet. **Yarn weight**: Fingering. Gauge: 10 stitches in 5cm (2”) by 5 rows in 5cm (2”) in dc stitch pattern. **Hook** 2.5 mm. **The calculated amount of required yarn** (please note that this is an estimate, as the actual yarn usage for this pattern may vary): a middle section approx. 990 m of С1 (1083 yards) and 1170 m of С2 (1280 yards), the whole scarf approx. 1210 m of С1 (1323 yards) and 1320 m of С2 (1443 yards) --------------------- My scarf (double sided overlay mosaic): * С1 (the pattern): Yarnart Flowers, 2 skeins (324 g/1296 m). Color 272, light beige and green part of the skein. * С2 (the background): Filmar NILO, 284 g/1136 m. A chainette bobbin yarn, 100% cotton, color NL019, 400 m / 100 g. I bought this yarn at a store in Tbilisi, but I couldn't find a similar type on the manufacturer's website. Unfortunately, halfway through my project, I discovered a defect in the yarn – it became noticeably thinner. I decided to continue working and finished the scarf, which ended up using less yarn than I had initially calculated.
