Some of my most favorite memories are of nights spent with family and friends laughing and listening to music near the crackling logs and glowing embers of a fireplace. Think warmth. Think coziness. Starting with a folded brim to keep you extra toasty, this pattern features a mix of elongated, flaming zigzags and diamonds twinkling above them. Knit with DK weight yarn, this hat has that perfect combination of lightness and warmth. What colors will you choose for your **Hearthside Hat**, and most importantly, what memories will you make while wearing it? **Materials Needed**: **Yarn** Approximately 175 yds (160 m) total of DK weight yarn in four contrasting colors. If your gauge is different than what is called for in the pattern, yardage will vary. Substitute yarn yardage also may vary. **Color A**: 110 yds (101 m) **Color B**: 25 yds (23 m) **Color C**: 20 yds (19 m) **Color D**: 20 yds (19 m) **Suggested Needles** US 6 (4 mm) or size needed to meet brim gauge; 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needles.
