There’s something so comforting about sitting together around a campfire, leaning into the warmth and enjoying good company. I felt we needed a warm pair of socks to wear at any of our bonfire celebrations. These socks are perfect for beginners and Using heavier- weight sock yarn will create a warmer sock and will be much faster to knit! It is totally possible to knit these socks in one day over a quiet weekend. In fact, I challenge you to do so! Happy knitting These socks are knit with a heavy weight sport sock yarn and use a very fun-to-knit gradient yarn from Spincycle, that changes colors (like a firework as it shoots into the sky!). Knit from the top down with a corrugated ribbed cuff, ribbed heel flap and gusset. Only using two colors, these socks have an easy-to-knit, simple colorwork motif. A few rounds of very simple colorwork detail are knit before the toe decreases too. Sizing 1 (2, 3) To fit (foot circumference): 7¾ (9, 10¼) inches / 18.5–19.5 (21.5–22.5, 25–26) cm Finished circumference: 6¾ (8, 9¼) inches / 17 (20, 23.5) cm Yarn MC: Sport weight, REGIA Uni 6 ply (75% wool, 25% polyamide), 410 yds (375 m) per 150-g skein CC: Sport weight, Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool (100% American superwash wool), 200 yds (183 m) per 50-g skein Shown in MC: Navy (1 skein) CC: Rusted Rainbow (1 skein) Any sport-weight sock yarn can be used for this sock pattern as long as you can obtain the same gauge.
