Pure Comfort Vest

Pure Comfort Vest knitting pattern is great for a beginner knitter , who wants to learn some new techniques in knitting to use afterwards those skills in next projects. It is knitted with basic stitches and minimal shaping. It contains supporting videos with knitting techniques used in this pattern. The Pure Comfort Vest is worked in the round from bottom upwards up to the armholes. Then the body is divided to two parts: back and front and worked separately. The shoulders are sewn with Stockinette seam. The round neckline is framed with 1x1 ribbing band. Pattern is written in English, German, French. Sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL FINISHED MEASUREMENTS approximate Size 1/2 Bust S 46cm (18””) M 52cm (20-21”) L 56cm (22”) XL 60cm (23-24”) XXL 66cm (26”) XXXL 71cm (28”) Suggested yarn: 1. Lang Yarns Yak 70% Merino Extra Fine, 30% Yak 50g-120m/ 131 yds 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 skeins. Colour 1103. Note: you can choose another yarn brand, that allows you to obtain the correct gauge. • A pair of 4.5mm (US 7, UK 7) 80-100 cm 32-40” circular needles for the main body. • 2 pairs of 3.5mm (US 4, UK 10) straight or circular needles for the body bottom ribbing. • A pair of 2.5mm (US 1.5, UK 12) 40 cm (16”) circular needles for the neckband. • Tapestry needle. • 4 stitch holders or about 100 cm of waste yarn (25”). • 2 openable stitch markers. • Measuring tape. • Scissors. GAUGE (TENSION) approximate: 18-19 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in stockinette stitch after washing and blocking. The swatch is made with 4.5mm (US 7, UK 7) knitting needles.
