The deep V neckline frames whatever you wear underneath, while the armholes are shaped to sit comfortably without bulk. The side openings close with adjustable i-cord ties, so you can wear it closer to the body or looser and open. The back is worked first, then the fronts are picked up at the shoulders and shaped to form the deep V neckline. After the armholes are completed, the body is finished with ribbing and a slightly longer back hem. I-cord ties are added at each side opening to close the garment and allow adjustable fit. --- ### **Yarn Notes** We knit our sample in Yarn Nouveau DK Merino in the shade Dark Forest, a rich tonal green that highlights the clean lines of the slipover. Any DK yarn with good structure will work well. Tonal and solid colorways show the shaping best, but this is also a great project for a favorite sweater quantity you’ve been saving.
