Inner Beauty

The Inner Beauty pattern is named for its reversible stitch pattern. A half-double crochet stitch variation creates a handsome pattern of horizontal lines on this beanie's exterior and an intriguing -- and just as good-looking -- texture on its interior. Choose your side! Not only is Inner Beauty reversible, but it also can be worn several ways. The beanie length can be rolled up into a fisherman's cap, and the slouchy length can become a classic, cuffed beanie. This is the worsted version of The Friendship Beanie, which uses chunky weight yarn. The hats are worked from the top down in spiral (non-joined) rounds. The spiral construction means no color jogs at the joins, so self-striping yarns can shine in Inner Beauty beanies. (Though solid yarns are great for showing off the textured fabric!)
