Robinia Mittens

**ROBINIA MITTENS** are mittens with a classic fit and a feminine look. The mittens are worked in stockinette stitch in a simple stranded pattern. The mittens can be worked in two sizes as hands come in different lengths. The pattern also describes how to add extra length if you need a longer mitten than size 2 provides. I have also used thinner yarn to knit the ROBINIA MITTENS for kids, thus creating mittens in size 5-6 years and 7-8 years. **Size** Sizes: 1 (2) Length: 23 (25) cm circumference: 21 cm **Needles** 2.5 mm and 3 mm double-pointed needles Optional: smaller double-pointed needles for picking up the thumb stitches **Gauge** 23 sts x 30 rows in PATTERN on a 3 mm needle = 10 x 10 cm I recommend knitting a swatch before starting the project. Wash and dry the swatch before measuring the gauge.
