**Jolly Jolly Santa Hat Appliqué: Easy Crochet Pattern (FREE!)** Ho, ho, ho! Let's crochet a jolly Santa hat appliqué! It's the perfect way to add a little Christmas cheer to your projects. Just grab your hook, some red and white yarn, and let's get started! You'll have a festive little Santa ready to top off your gifts, decorate your tree, or even wear yourself at your Christmas party! **Materials Needed** DK or weight 3 yarn (acrylic or cotton) in red and green. I used Paintbox Yarns Simply DK which comes in a 5 Ball Color Pack Crochet hook that fits your yarn. For this project I used a 3 mm hook. A tapestry needle A pair of scissors **Abbreviations** ch = chain sc = single crochet sc2tog = single crochet 2 together (decrease) st = stitch sts = stitches fo = fasten off **Skill Level** Beginner **Gauge** Gauge: 10 sc and 12 rows with a 3 mm crochet hook = 5 cm (2.5"). **Size** Height by width = (7 cm x 5 cm) (2.8 inches x 2 inches) **Yardage** Approx. = 8-10 meters (8.75 to 11 yards) **Notes** - You can make the pattern larger or smaller by changing the type of yarn and/or hook size. - Numbers at the end of each row (in brackets) indicate the number of final stitches in that row. - Please note that I use US crochet terms. ---------------------------------------------- PLEASE NOTE This product is for a CROCHET PATTERN only.
