Knit from the top-down, the College Town Hoodie looks great up - to protect your ears and head, or down - as a hoodie and cowl. **original hard copy pattern called for 550 yards. This typo has been corrected on the PDF. 450 yards are what is needed.** Materials needed: Madelinetosh Farm Twist 100% superwash merino wool. 225 yards /100g - 2 skeins. Our sample was knit in Star Scatter. Or a heavy dk/light worsted weight yarn, approximately 450 yards. US 5 - 24” circular needle – for inside facing US 5 - double pointed needles (only 2 needed) optional for i-cord drawstring US 6 - 24” circular needle – for body of hood US 7 - 24” circular needle – for bottom of cowl
