Purl Soho’s [Plenty][1], 100% extra fine merino wool yarn. Each skein of this worsted/aran-weight yarn is 139 yards/ 100 grams. For a one-color hat without pom pom, you’ll need . . .
- Roll Brim Hat: 1 (1, 1, 2) skein(s); approximately 75 (100, 130, 160) total yards required.
- Rib Brim Hat: 1 (1, 1, 2) skein(s); approximately 80 (105, 139, 175) total yards required.
- Garter Brim Hat: 1 (1, 1, 2) skein(s); approximately 80 (105, 139, 175) total yards required.
- Garter Brim Hat with Ear Flaps: 1 (2, 2, 2) skein(s); approximately 125 (160, 205, 245) total yards required.
NOTE: A pom pom requires 55–90 additional yards of yarn.
