Rhodes

Rhodes is a long knitted scarf in a laced centre with stockinette tails on both ends. It is a versatile scarf which can be worn in many different ways. - Head Scarf, Neck scarf, Bandana, Hairband etc. This project can be a great leftover buster. only one of 50g ball is needed. Measurements: 141cm (56.5”) X 22.5cm (9”) **Yarn** I used linen and sock yarn for Rhodes to be able to wash often as it would get dirty. It’s a hair piece.. you know. Linen version: BC Garn Lino, 100% Linen, Patrol 50g (150m/164yds) 1 ball. or Sock Yarn version: CoopKnits Socks Yeah! 75% superwash merino/25% nylon, Neon Orange. 50g (212m/231yds) 1 ball Gauge: 18 sts x 28 rows 4” [10 cm] in St st, after washing and blocking. **« Please check your gauge. Rhodes should be knitted quite loose. Many people often don’t check the gauge for one for all sized project (including myself :wink: ) However, if you don’t make Rhodes with the same gauge, 50g ball of yarn won’t be enough for the project. »** **Suggested Needle** 4mm (US 6) & 5mm (US 8) circular needle 30cm (12”) or any desired length. Or 2 double pointed needles if you prefer. I used 4mm for Linen & 5mm for sock yarn to achieve the same gauge.
