Learn-to-Knit Scarf

The Learn-to-Knit Scarf is a great first project. I designed in for a workshop I am teaching at Southern Maine Community College. It starts out with garter stitch, first with knitting and then with purling. Afterwards, there are 6 simple patterns combining only knit and purl stitches. This is ideal both for a workshop or class setting, but also for self-teaching. **Note: This pattern is free of charge. Organizations may use it to offer free classes. Businesses may NOT charge for its use.
