The PhD Vest

The PhD Vest is an oversized V-neck vest. It's constructed top down seamlessly, starting with the back knitted flat with a drop shoulder construction. The right and left front panels are worked flat from picking up stitches at the shoulders to shape the V-neck, then the panels are joined to create the front. Armhole are worked on both the back and front panels to shape the armholes. The body is worked in the round after joining the back and front.
