This simple but elegant crochet towel ring is a modern alternative to the traditional towel topper. These are designed for the modern kitchen cabinets that have vertical drawer pulls for handles instead of the traditional knobs. These wrap around versions are also great to hang on the refrigerator or microwave handles, but they would also work on the usual appliance handle like the oven or dishwasher. Simply wrap the crocheted portion around the kitchen cabinet handle and button it closed. Add a clean towel to the ring and voila! You have a towel at eye level instead of near the floor where pets, kids, and germs can reach it. When you need a clean towel, no need to remove the ring, simply change out the towel. Easy peasy! Pair it with a matching towel and you have a very useful and desirable Christmas gift or stocking stuffer that only costs a few dollars and just minutes of your time to make. They are simple enough to match plenty of styles of homes, especially farmhouse and mid-century modern decor. If you sell at craft fairs, these are great add-on items that people will love! **This pattern includes instructions for 2 versions**, but there is a video tutorial for only 1 version. There are step-by-step photos included for both versions, however. **Supplies Needed** 5.0 mm hook Approx. 25-30 yds. of any size 4 worsted weight yarn (acrylic or cotton) 9-inch (23 cm) length of twine (optional) 10 or 12 mm wooden bead or button (no bigger or smaller) 70-75 mm wooden ring (or one big enough for a towel to easily go through) Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure **Terms Used & Abbreviations** Pattern is written in US terminology.
