The Choice Is Yours Cowl

I designed **The Choice Is Yours Cowl** as momentum builds in our knitting community with Vice President Kamala Harris running for President of the United States. Knit with worsted yarn and featuring a unique construction, this cowl gives you the ability to wear two different stranded colorwork messages independently or together. Two contrasting colors are used to create the “VOTE” section and two different contrasting colors are used to work the “KAMALA ‘24” section. If you like, you might even decide to knit the entire cowl with just the “VOTE” section or the “KAMALA ’24” section. The choice is yours. **MATERIALS NEEDED**: **Yarn** Worsted yarn in four contrasting colors. **Color A**: 175 yds (161 m) **Color B**: 110 yds (101 m) **Color C**: 185 yds (170 m) **Color D**: 120 yds (110 m) **Suggested Needles** **TWO SETS** of US 9 (5.5 mm) or size needed to meet gauge; 24” (60 cm) circular knitting needles. **Notions** Crochet hook [US J—10 (6 mm), or a size larger than your working needles is recommended] Scissors Scrap yarn Stitch markers, at least two removable Tapestry needle Feel free to sell small quantities of finished cowls that are made using this pattern, but please give credit to flynnknit for the design.
