**Suggested yarn**: Worsted / Aran weight (or any combination of yarn around: 50gr / 100m – 109yds). Sample yardage: Color A.- (black) 80m / 87yds Color B.- (beige) 70m / 77yds **Notions**: Tapestry needle, sewing needle, pins, measure tape and scissors. **Other materials**: zipper (20cm long), cotton fabric (40cm x 40cm) and thread (matching fabric color). **Finished measurements**: 32cm / 13” wide x 18cm / 7” tall (measured after blocking, flat and without the straps). ****** TEXTO EN ESPAÑOL DEBAJO ****** The construction of this crossbody striped bag is simple and **beginner friendly**. It’s all knitted back and forth in **garter stitch** and the **short rows** build the smooth shape in one horizontal piece. To add more structure, it’s **lined with cotton fabric** and closed with a practical **zipper** (both handsewn). The strap is an **i-cord** that is worked with DPNs. The sample is knitted using a dark and light color for a graphic effect but it can be also replaced by multicolour vibrant stripes. Each stripe (10 in total) takes only 12 meters / 13 yards so it’s perfect to bust your stash. ........................................................................................... La construcción de este bolso bandolera es sencilla y fácil, apta para **tejedores principiantes**. El bolso en sí es un rectángulo tejido en **punto bobo** (tejido del derecho por ambos lados) que va tomando forma gracias a las **vueltas cortas**. Para reforzar su estructura está **forrado con loneta de algodón** y se cierra con una práctica **cremallera** (ambos cosidos a mano). La tira es un **cordón tubular** que se construye con un par de agujas de doble punta. Si bien el modelo de muestra está tejido en color tostado y negro para lograr un mayor efecto gráfico, también quedaría precioso usando varios colores. Cada línea de color (10 en total) sólo abarca 12 metros / 13 yardas, por lo que se presta como una buena opción para usar los restos de lana que te hayan quedado de otros proyectos.
