Fabulous Freddie

Freddie is a stylish, fun-loving frog who likes to look fabulous. You get to customize your Freddie by picking one of three hat options. There is a crown for Freddie the frog prince, a top hat for Freddie the gentleman and a pointy hat, for Freddie the sorcerer. This is a pdf pattern that will be available for download immediately after purchase. The pattern is written in English and uses US terminology. The pattern includes photographs to demonstrate special techniques and the assembly of different parts. The pattern also includes links to video tutorials for different aspects. Skill level The pattern requires familiarity with the basic amigurumi stiches and is thus suitable to advanced beginners or intermediate crocheters. Yarn This pattern was made using a fine cotton yarn (yarn weight 2). The specific amount of yarn needed depends on which hat option is made. It is possible to make Freddie using a different yarn weight, just be aware that this will affect the estimates for the amount of yarn needed, the final size of the toy, the size of safety eyes as well as the size of hook needed. The main body needs around 77 yds / 70 m of yarn. The eyes and each of the hat options need less than 13 yds/ 12 m each in the appropriate color. Other materials Crochet hook, for the pattern a US 2 (2,5 mm) sized hook was used. You will also need two safety eyes: 0,5 inch / 12 mm or larger, a sewing needle, scissors, fiber fill and stitch markers.
